A Swedish motorist has been banned from using the letters ADHD on her personalised number plate – over fears it would offend attention deficit suffers.
Had I any Swedish, I would suggest to the lady in question that she might instead use the earlier acronym for the same thing. ADHD (er, ‘attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder’) used to be called NBGH (‘needs bloody good hiding’).
