I e-mailed my MP a week ago about the information-sharing scandal, but have yet to receive a reply.
Perhaps if one writes to one’s MP more than once a year one is automatically filed as a nut job and one’s subsequent communications ignored.
Pah.

I too emailed my MP about EDM 492 and I too failed to receive a response from him. Sending him a second email congratulating him for signing it did however merit a reply.
I’d spread the idea (and a letter framework written by a well known libertarian blogger) among some places that I frequent on the internet in an effort to publicise the attempt to prevent the passing of the SI. Many people reported back that they got a message when composing their email that copy and paste messages would be filtered out by the system. Is it possible that your submission fell foul of this? Or maybe they were overwhelmed by the magnitude of public outrage and your email is still waiting to be read .. .. .. ..
I posted a piece about copy-and-paste items being rejected myself, a few days ago. Having no shortage of my own words, I’m inclined to be generous with them. I think the fellow’s simply tired of being pestered by people like me.
