Bill of ‘rights’

National treasure Nightjack on a Bill of, er, ‘Rights’:

Once again this Government is charging into the very biggest society changing stuff with nice sounding words and heads as empty as empty can be. This time it’s a Bill of Rights and Responsibilities. I will bet my next coffee that if they have enough time to get it on the books I will end up with the shitty end of both. That’s the way it is.

As long as this guy and others like him (but perhaps less literary) are in the police force, there are still proper old-fashioned apples in what might seem otherwise to be an wholly rotten modern barrel, and with the summer coming on perhaps this ought to be borne in mind.
