ITN reports yet another devious, shameful and globally humiliating measure on the part of the government to exclude from residency in the UK members of the Brigade of Ghurkas.
There is such a marked discrepancy between the government’s treatment of these fine soldiers and its treatment of those very much less deserving of residence here that I have become convinced that it is the traditional, Kiplingsque loyalty and selflessness of the Ghurkas which the government feels is so dangerous an influence upon its precious new socialist nirvana that it must be excluded at any cost.
And nothing seems to happen to change that view; ever.
And I thought I couldn’t despise this wretched shower any more than I currently do…
We clearly can’t allow people to stay here, who have a different (more traditional, honourable and more self-reliant view of how people ought to behave) outlook from the GramscoFabiaNazis.
I mean, what were you thinking? If we allow these people in, then others who come to know them will start to question the world-view of our dear leaders….this would never do. It will cause unrest.

this UNELECTED administration are beneath contempt for this.
Over here we have a habit of bringing back to the U (more or less…) S the terrified ragtag & bobtail of our various (ongoing!) defeats around the World — in succeeding generations the children of these Vietnamese, Hmong, Somalis, you name it often become a load of hoodlums. But if that were even true of the Ghurkas in the first place, it would be, in the inverted logic of Soft-Left State-Liberalist Up-YOUR-Hole Credential-Imperialism the BEST “reason” of all for them to get to stay. And Christ on a clap ward, why in Hell not, you already have all of these God-damned Scotchmen lolling in No 10, spitting on the the mat, calling it Liberty Hall and the cat a bastard!
My advice to the English (‘UK’) Ghurka community:
Start acting like assholes and cutting up with your knives in the trains…and Jesus Christ, you’ll be in like Flynn!
Sadly I fear Emmett will be proved right if they did that.
But they can’t can they, for they aren’t like that. And nor are we: ‘coz one Noble and Moral People met another one, in “a faraway country of which we are now told to know little” all those years ago, and liked each other, and the Rest Is History.
They and we would have to be inimical to each other (or be told to be by HistorioGramscoFalsifiers for that to happen – rather like with some other groups we (ought not to) mention.
